In 1928 they released the first advert with the showing the iconic glass and a half of milk being poured onto a bar of chocolate. This is the first hint towards their well known slogan 'glass and a half'. In this add though the slogan 'Eat more milk' is used. By advertising that it contains a lot of milk they are trying to make it seem more nutritious.

By the 1930's Cadbury was the UK's biggest selling chocolate. in 1935 they released a Christmas advert featuring Santa. This was to interest children. Making them want Cadbury chocolate for Christmas. It features multiple products suggesting they were popular enough at this point to release many products for Christmas, The words 'Christmas club' and 'Cadbury's' are bigger than the others in the title. This is to draw your attention to these words. Making you want 'Cadbury's' for 'Christmas'.

In 2007 Cadbury released their most popular ad yet. The 'Gorilla' TV ad. To this day this is the most well known Cadbury advert. The comical video features actor 'Garon Micheal' dressed as a gorilla playing guitar. The ad, directed by 'Juan Cebrel', had been viewed by over 6 million times across a large number of video sharing webhosts.
