Red Bull uses bases their adverts on the idea that drinking Red Bull will give you wings. Although we know Red Bull can't actually give us wings, it does suggest that drinking Red Bull will give you something you didnt before. It gives this idea that you can be improved by drinking Red Bull. Red Bull also has a lot of caffeine and will give you lots of energy, the wings may be suggestive to how you will do a lot more when you've drunk Red Bull because you have more energy. The Red Bull ads not only use this technique but they also tend to be quite humorous.

In the Dove adverts they have stopped using skinny, tall models and now use models that look more like the general public. They use women of all shapes and sizes so that the general public as a whole can relate more because they look the same. They promote an image that you look good the way you are. It promotes the idea that Dove is for everyone where as using models may promote the idea that the product is only for tall, skinny women and if you don't look like this you shouldn't wear it. Promoting body positivity also helps sell their products as self esteem for women and body positivity is an issue for females. Addressing this issue will show that they care for women and the issues they face.

Burt's Bees is known for using natural ingredients. Not only are they using images of fruit and honey, which are both natural, they are posing the fruit as butterflies. This furthers their message. The colours are also all very warm and autumnal. There is nothing in this poster that doesn't give a natural message.

This logo doesn't even need the name. WWF has such an iconic logo and features one of the most endangered animals in the world so it makes it even harder to forget what they're fighting for. Using an animal also makes the logo attractive to children. They will see the cute panda and perhaps ask their parents about it.

This poster is so shocking as the person on the poster looks so friendly and ordinary but the message on the front is so harsh. Someone obviously shouldn't die for such a little reason. So it intrigues as to why. It doesn't make sense that this nice woman should die just because she likes cats. This makes you read on more to see why.

This image is so shocking. Its upsetting and very graphic. It makes you look and it makes you pay attention to the issue it addresses. You could never imagine this happening in real life. Barnardo's are trying to give the message that some people are put on this path at a very young age and that here are ways to help prevent it. Putting a name to the baby as well makes it feel more real and scary.

This poster for Fairy's 50th Anniversary looks very similar to old fashioned adverts. It features a woman who looks similar to how a stay t home mum would look during the 50's. They are also holding a fairy bottle that looks similar to their bottles at the start. This will make people think of seeing it in their childhood and remember the happy times of their young childhood at home.

In this photo you see a packet of digestives in a packet similar to that of the original digestives packaging. Digestives have been around forever and before they had chocolate they were plain. Having the background photos of plain digestives will make people think of when they used to eat them and make them want them again.
